2012 VP113 nicknamed Biden (2012 VP - the VIce President of the USA in 2012 was Biden) is a small object that orbits the Sun at an insane distance. It was first observed at 5 November 2012 by American astronomers Scott Sheppard and Chad Trujillo at the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory in Chile. The discovery was announced on 26 March 2014.

Biden has the largest perihelion distance (closest point to the Sun) of any known object in the Solar System, its last perihelion was in 1979 and the next one will be around 6400 AD. It having a perihelion beyond Kuiper belt is not normal, and astronomers are wondering how did this happen, one of the possible reasons for this is the hypothetical Planet Nine.
