Milkdromeda or Milkomeda, is a future elliptical or lenticular galaxy that will form when our galaxy (The Milky Way) collides with the neighboring major galaxy, Andromeda. The collision between these two galaxies will start in approximately 4.5 billion years. And the process of becoming a larger galaxy will take about 2 billion years more.
